Extended settings tab

I am trying to see if my drive is in DMA mode. I cannot access the Extended
Setting tab in Device Manager. I am using a rather old version of XP (2002).
My slave disc broke down and I took it out. Then I clean installed XP on
the Primary drive. It restored the DMA mode. But I had some other issues
and managed to lose the Extended Setting tab. I don't know if my disc is in
DMA mode now or not. I would be grateful for any help.

Hi John,

By "Extended Setting", do you mean "Advanced Setting"? Version 2002 is the
last as far as I know. What edition of XP and service pack level? I'm using
Windows XP, Professional, Service Pack 3. What service pack level was your
install CD?
