Expressins and Extensions

AlJ

I use FP2003 for a website that is for my own amusement. It is
graphics intensive I suppose.

I like FP2003 but have grown weary of worrying about the extensions.
Once again, they are corrupted. The host is offering to remove and re-
install them. That will likely fix it but at what cost. If nothing
else, I'd rather not lose the page hit counts. I may back them up
myself and then re-establish them.

Does Expressions use extensions also? Most of what I'm doing if
fairly simple simple by web standards so I'm not too concerned about a
learning curve.

Cost aside, does it make sense to upgrade?

Thanks

Neither FrontPage nor Expression Web require extensions.

It does make sense to upgrade as all futures will be built around standards
which are support by EW.

You don't need the FPSE provided you don't use any of the server side
webbots. If you're not using the webbots then I would remove the FPSE and
live and work without them.

Try to use CSS and web standards whereever possible.
