"exporting' collections of clips and music?

I have gone to a lot of work creating "right sized" video
and music clips out of hours of old family footage. My
plan is to reassemble them into customised movies for
each of my family members and then also to save the clips
for future use in small vignettes. I also work
alternately between my laptop and a more powerful
desktop. I can't seem to find any way of copying the
clips from my collections into a regular folder so that I
can use them in the future or between my various
computers. For one hour of movie, I hav over 35 clips or
scenes and it took several hours to properly name and
combine- I DO NOT want have to do this again in the
future, any advice?

Check the Managing > Collections page of my site.... I do what you want to
on a regular basis. You just need to manually copy/store/paste your
collection databases.
