explorer properties window disappeared

Wim Weseling

Hi,

When I right-click a folder in Windows explorer and select 'properties'
nothing happens.
This is also true when I select 'Sharing and security...' ( nothing
happens)

It works fine when I right-click a file ( I get the properties window )

I am running xp with SP2 and norton internet security

Thanks in advance,

Wim

Are you running Windows XP Professional, with IIS installed? If so, read

Thanks, I added MS IIS to norton internet security (personal firewall ) as
suggested and that solved the problem.
