I'm trying to add a folder on my C:\ drive. I go to Windows Explorer, click
on File, move the cursor to New....before New expands into its choices, an
error box appears:

EXPLORER
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shutdown.

I click on "Details" and the first time I get this:

EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module SHDOC401.DLL at 017f:5001f4f8.

The next time this happened, "Details" gave me this:

module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff7b9f5.

The third time "Details" gave me another module and data.
I've scanned for viruses and ran Ad-aware 6.0 to no avail.

Thanks Henri,
I used the first solution, found two long extensions with 'hotbar' in them,
deleted them and i'm now able to add folders!
I went to the link you furnished to nocrash.com....there is a link to
"PowerScan"....Is Powerscan OK, safe, and all that?? or just another piece
of spyware?? Thanks again, Rex Hall
