Hi there.
Firstly IE6 is no longer allowing me to type in certain
text boxes e.g. the yahoo email compose box, although it
will allow me to type in the address bar. The problem is
related to IE, as it does not occur with netscape navigator.
More importantly, I am developing a browser application
with the cppwebbrowser control. Any application that uses
this now comes up with "Too many exceptions" when I try to
use the Navigate method.
I re-downloaded IE6 from microsoft, and the problems are
still there. One thing I have noticed is that having
re-installed it, additional components such as yahoo
companion toolbar are still installed. If there is
anything else installed besides that I dont know about,
then here may lye the problem.
Is there any way to detect and irradicate ... all plugins
etc that it may have please ? I have tryed deletting all
cookies - to no effect, and resetting its defaults.
It is possible that something has been allowed to install
that shouldnt from the net, because it is popping up the
odd advertising window, that it didnt.
Would appreciate any feedback.
Regards Andy
