certain sites close IE6 automatically

still have the problem of certain sites closing the IE application .
I have the latest Microsoft spyware beta, it reports I am clean.
I have also deleted and re-installed IE6.
I have installed SP1 from Microsoft.
99% works, it is just a few sites that seem to do this.Could it be related
to my settings?
I will share those sites if needed

I had the same problem with some websites (bankrate.com, jigzone.com) and
after some tests I realized the problem was with the JavaVM, it seems the
JavaVM setup was wrog (my system is W2KPro, IE 6 SP1).
I had to remove JavaVM, reboot the computer and reinstall the JavaVM (this
time I was able to get the Microsoft JavaVM) and it worked like a charm.

Good luck !

The fact that the beta Microsoft Anti-Spyware reports you clean doesn't mean
that you ARE clean.

What You Should Know About Spyware

CAUTION!!!!! Before you try to remove spyware using any of these programs ,
download a copy of LSPFIX from any of the following sites:
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
http://www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html
(if your OS is Win2k or XP) The process of removing certain malware may kill
your internet connection. If this should occur, this program, LSPFIX, will
enable you to regain your connection.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:
