Explorer has caused an error user.exe

I kept getting this error when I type in the search window
of excite, or yellow pages. After closing the window, IE6
closes down. I've tried cleaning up virus/parasites with
spyware/eztrust. Problem still occurs. Any suggestions?

program (adware, spyware,
parasite)
