explorer.exe is partially hanging

I have a very odd issue that just crept up in my system. "My
Computer" is hanging for a few minutes then comes back just fine for a
few minutes then hangs again. The odd thing is if I go to any other
directory and open explorer.exe to look at the directory it works just
fine all the time, even if I have another window open that is trying
and failing to view the "my computer" directory. Any ideas?

Thanks for the tip. After talking about the problem with a co-worker
I was able to determine it was a problem on one of my file servers
that was having issues. I dissconnected my shares and the problem
went away. I'm in the process of re-enabling them one by one to see
which it was. I believe it's an issue with a file server that is in
the process of being replaced as it is slowly dying. Many unusuall
errors are popping up across my network. Replacing it this weekend so
hopefully(fingers crossed) all these problems will go away.
