When I click to open Windows Explorer (ie.double-
click 'my computer') or Internet Explorer the following
error occurs:
windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
mod name: tps108.dll
mod version: 0.3.1.9
offset: 000104d6

exception code 0xc0000005
flags 0x00000000
record 0x000000000000000 (a whole bunch)
address: 0x000000000le804d6

Outlook and many other applications (such as Paint, etc.)
work normally.

When starting in Safe Mode, explorer will work normally.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts, ideas, or
advice that might help.

Thanks!

Since these files are windows system files, then try the
system file checker tool. Click start, run, and type in
this here; "sfc /scannow" with that space after the sfc.
It will ask for your XP CD to copy any needed files from,
and it runs as Windows file Protection. If you don't have
a XP CD, try to borrow one from someone. And your PC may
have a faulty RAM memory module as well, so test the RAM.
