Explorer.exe Application error on program startup

Hi,

Looking for help with the following error message I get for some programs
when Windows boots (2, sometimes 3) and when I try to open Firefox:

Explore.exe - Application Error

the instructions at "0x66006041" referenced memory at "0x66006041". the
memory could not be read
----------
I already un-installed and re--installed the programs. But Dr Watson finds
them again and new ones too. Watson wants to debug or close program and wants
to use error reporting. Either/ANY option causes pc to hang.

When checking processes, taskmng.exe is hanging.

Any advice before pc flies through the window? : )

My suggestion woul be to try scanning for virus at first.

Explore.exe is not a windows file. Mostly likely it's malware. See
this google search.
