Norton, pile of crap that it is, is still lurking in your system.

Search for any instances of Nortons/Symantec and delete them.

You may or may not be successful in completely eradicating Nortons.

If you can't get shot of all that Symantec rubbish, don't worry about that message, it won't harm your computer.

Think it was norton 2007 15 day version i install.

Slow the pc right down and made it crash out.

Who would pay money for this crap anyway?

think i fix this now

Done this:

1. Click Start, and then click Run. The Run dialog box appears.
2. Type regedit and then click OK. The Registry Editor opens.
3. Navigate to the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\VirtualDeviceDrivers

4. In the right pane, double-click the VDD value. The Edit Binary Value dialog box opens.
5. Select the contents of the Value data box, ant then press Delete. There may be four zeros that cannot be deleted.
6. Click OK, and then Exit the Registry Editor

Not easying doing and i had to back it up twice.

But i think all is working now.
