Are there complications when migrating an NT4 domain to AD when a Exch 5.5
server exists on the w2k server platform?

What is the official word on mixed and native mode compatibility for NT OS?
I have read in official cirriculum that when all NT DCs are upgraded you can
safely switch into native mode, but in other studies I have read that you
should not any NT OS boxes left at all and you will not be able to add any
NT OS boxes to the network in Native mode. Is there a MS tech doc regarding
this?

You won't have any problem with your Exchange 5.5 running
on a W2K server in an AD domain. This is quite common.

The mixed mode refers only to a mix of DCs (AD DCs and
NT4.0 BDCs). When you move to AD native mode you can
still have NT 4.0 member servers and workstations in the
domain, just not NT 4.0 BDCs.
