Excessive scrolling in IE6 when using scroll bar

Whenever I click the scroll bar in IE6, the page advances
at least two pages. Changing mouse settings has no
effect on this action. When using the mouse wheel, IE
scrolls as set.

How do I change settings so that browser scrolls no more
than 1 page when I click the scrollbar?

This is caused by a bug in the Q824145 patch for IE. Click just under the
slider in the
scrollbar or drag the slider. The page up, page down and arrow keys should
work properly.

You can uninstall the update and wait for the next one, but you'll be
re-opening a security hole.
