When I power up and also when I open Excel, I get two
errors every time. The first one is a microsoft excel box
that says"could not register the Basic Visual
Environment. Please run setup." the an OK box. When I
click on OK I get a second Excel box that says "An error
occured intializing the VBA Libraries (126) and an OK box.
BTW thanks for the help on the Pro from Home install I
asked about a couple of days ago!

Did you try to detect and repair the setup of excel.
Seems that the run time files for Excel VBA are corrupt.

I have tried to get downloads to upgrade Excel but
specifically have not done what you suggewst. Can you
tell me more about how to do that?

What do you mean "downloads to upgrade Excel"? You can't download
anything to upgrade an Excel version. You have to buy Excel. Try
uninstalling and reinstalling Excel. If that doesn't work, post your
question in a group dealing with Excel. Here is a link to a listing of
