Excel Problem

When I try to open an Excel Spreadsheet I get a long pause
then I receive an error message that reads:

MICROSOFT VISUAL BASIC

Class not registered. Looking for object with CLSID:
(MC9F2F90-E877-11CE-9F68-00AA00574A4F)

When I click OK, the spreadsheet opens.
