Problem Opening Worksheet

WhenI try to open an Excel worksheet I experience a very
long delay then receive an error message that reads:
Microsoft Visual Basic
Class not registered. Looking for object with CLSID:
(AC9F2F90-E877-11CE-9F68-00AA00574A4F)

When I click OK, the worksheet opens.

Tom,

Try re-registering Excel with Windows. Go to the Start menu, choose Run, and
enter

Excel.exe /regserver

Hi Chip,
I had a problem where my XL files in say My Documents were all
there and worked fine, but didn't show the XL icon, rather some Application
icon. I saw your post and thought 'I wonder?' It worked, Thanks!
