Excel 2002 Superscripts

I need to be able to insert the symbols 'superscript 4' and 'superscript 5'
in an Excel worksheet. When I go 'Insert,' 'Symbols' it only offers up to
'superscript 3.' I have tried typing 'abcdef4' and then coverting the font
of 4 to superscript. This, however, does not solve my problem, as the
superscript does not transfer to my graph which uses the entry with the
superscripts; it is simply displayed as abcdef4. Also, I was unable to copy
and paste the superscripts from a Word document, which has them when you
insert footnotes. If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it. Thank
you.

Insert|Symbols uses the character set available in your fonts. What
your fonts contain is independent of Excel. You might be able to find a
font that has a more extensive collection of superscipt characters. I
have no specific suggestions other than looking at font sites.

Alternately, you could format text in the chart title or axis labels
similarly (Format|Selected Axix Title|Font) to formatting within a cell.
As in the cell, this approach only applies to static text, not formula
evaluations. As such it cannot be used on legend labels.

The Ariel Unicode has superscripts 0 to 9 but the font file is very large -
22Mb, I seem to recall.

best wishes

Hi all, thanks for the suggestion. I actually went back and changed my fonts
in the Insert|Symbols window and found that Book Antiqua has superscripts up
to 8! I don't understand why my Arial only went up to 3 in Excel, but in
Word it goes to 9. Thanks for everyone's help.
