Excel 2 Access 97

Can i import Excel 2000 data into an Access 97 database.
This may sound an odd question but it is due to the fact i
have Access 2000 and Access 97 on same computer. If so-
how. I know i can import Excel 2000 to ACcess 2000 so i am
hoping you can.
