EWF and CF Card Problems

Hello,
let me give you a brief background on what we are trying
to do and the problems we are facing.
We have a 512MB CF card which are used for burning images
for our thin clients.
We have trouble configuring the EWF feature. We followed
all the steps described in MSDN Embedded How-to-topics
called "How to Configure EWF for Compact Flash".

We still ended up with an error for invalid handle.
We tried the Registry method and it worked fine..but its
kinda tricky coz we dont want the customers to add and
delete registry entries.

Is there another way?? Has anyone come across similar
problem?? any suggestions, tips will be helpful

Hi Sid,

Are you configuring FBA on a intermediate hard disk or directly on Flash?

We've seen that sometimes EWFmgr reports and invalid file handle when it
attempts to create the EWF configuration partition after an Extended
partition. Try reconfiguring the partitions on your system so that they are
all primary partitions. Hopefully that should clear up the problem.
