every time I print I get an extra page of information?

when i print a document I always get a page printed first with information,
such as filename, directory, tile, author, date etc. I just cant seem to stop
this from happening and its wasting loads of paper and ink. Please help.

Jason,

It sounds like the option to print the Document Properties has been enabled.
You don't say what version of Word you are using (a most helpful inclusion
for future posts), but if it's Word 2003, you can disable this option by
clicking Tools | Options..., selecting the 'Print' tab in the 'Options'
dialog and clearing the 'Document properties' checkbox under the 'Include
with document' section.
