event ID 1069 in cluster

We have oracle 8.1.6 running in an MSCS cluster on Windows
2000.

The oracle instance went down this weekend.

In the oracle log I see only that he restarted and did a
crash recovery of the instance again.

In the event log I see only that the cluster failed with
event ID 1069.

What can be the explanation of this ?
