error opening shortcut

I get the following error message when trying to open any
shortcut that uses IE.

Windows cannot find program.exe. This program is needed
for opening files of type URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol.

Any suggestions?

In Windows Explorer, look under TOOLS|FOLDER OPTIONS|FILE TYPES for the
type above. Select that item and EDIT the "open" action to point to
Internet Explorer.
