ERROR "msimn has caused an error in KERNEL32.dll"

When Outlook Express is retrieving mail, the
message: "msimn has caused an error in KERNEL32.dll" pops
up and Outlook closes. It was working fine, until I
downloaded a new display adapter driver from Windows
Update. I tried to uninstall the driver and install the
old one, but I still get the error message. I even get
this error message when I use the standard display
adapter. Can anyone suggest a fix? I'm running WIndows
ME, 1.2gb Athlon CPU. Video is SiS 305. Thanks

JR,
If you are using an OEM machine, contact them (Dell, HP, Compac, etc.)
as you may need a specific driver for your machine.
