My server had some problems last week. It is fine now but I get an error msg
saying my mail cannot be sent...It does send mail and I also receive mail,
but with an error msg that always follows. I called my server road runner and
they say it originates in MSN. Ca;ling them osts money so does anybody know
how to stop the false error msg?The message could not be sent. The
authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP]
server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot
Windows Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If
you need help determining the proper server settings, please contact your
e-mail service provider.

Mac, I et all mail just fine including the dailycoyote. That part of the
error msg is irrelevant. I get error on every msg sent and received even
though there is no problem. Want to get rid of the phony error box.

Go to your Outbox, like I said originally, and delete the wrongly addressed
message.

I disagree that the error message is irrelevant. Your mail server
indicates that the recipient's email address is invalid. So, either
you have mistyped the email address or else something else is corrupting
the email address. That something else is probably a third party security
program, such as your antivirus.
