Error messages in prorammes

John Morgan

I saw this when I tried to start my PC. The error was corrected by MS
Windows, but I report it here because I don't understand why it happened.
MS Windows has recovered from a serious error. To view the error 'click here'
Error signature:
BCCode 100000d0 BCP1: 0000400f BCPC : 00000002 BCP3: 0000000
BCP4: 8054D661 OSVer 5_1_2600 SP:2_0 Product 768_1
Then 'click here' again and the next dialog box shows:
C:DOCUME~1\John\LOCALS~\Temp\WER152d.dir00\Mini 081206_01dmp
C:DOCUME~1\John\LOCALS~\Temp\WER152d.dir00\sysdata.xml
Anyone any ideas?
I am getting 'problem reports' with a few programmes, requiring the computer
to shut down.
My Sony PC came with an installtion disk, and I do not have a separate
Windows XP Home installation disk.

Go to Control Panel - System - Advanced - Startup & Recovery - Settings and
uncheck "Automatically restart". You will see a blue screen instead of
restart when a problem occurs. Then write error codes here and we will see
what we can.
