Error message

I have just done a system restore and each time I boot up
I get the following message "Error - Access violation at
address 40027088 in module "VCL50.BPL" Read of address
00000009." I have Windows XP Home Edition.
Does anyone know what has happened, and how I can remove
the message permanently?
