error message with Outlook email

Since upgrading XP to Vista, when sending emails from Outlook 2003 i get the
error message "The Add-in C:\WINDOWS\system32\fxsext32.dll could not be
loaded. the problem may be resolved by using Detect and repair on the Help
menu". Whilst using Detect and Repair does seem to resolve the problem, it
recurs again after each reboot or restart. Any ideas?

Did you have Winfax Pro in your XP installation?

This message is received when using Outlook 2003 to send email. The
error message indicates there’s an apparent problem with the faxing
software, WinFax Pro 10.03.

Others here have indicated that Winfax will not work with Vista, in
which case you need to remove the Winfax add-in from Outlook.

Hi David,

I have Office 2003 and have experienced the same problem since I upgraded to
Vista. I referred it to the Microsoft Technical Support team last week. The
response they gave me seems to have worked for me:
* Open Outlook 2003.
* Click 'Tools'
* 'Other'
* 'Advanced Options'
* 'Add-in Manager'
* Uncheck FaxExtension
* Click 'OK' 3 times to close out.

I hope this helps!
