From a previous posts: Suggestions...

"qttask.exe puts a QuickTime icon in the task tray. To remove it, run
QuickTime, go Edit / Preferences / Quicklime Preferences / Browser Plug-in
and deselect the "QuickTime system tray icon" tickbox. qttask.exe will still
run on system start-up, but it will not run as a process anymore"

Open Quicktime, Go to File>Open Recent>Clear Menu

or

It's a Quicktime file. Anytime you have a card reader or
USB drive attached to your system and start Quicktime it
records those drives the next time you boot if they are
no longer present it will give you that error. Go to
msconfig and un-check "Quicktime Task" from your startup.
Next time you use the quicktime player it will put it
back in. As long as the drives remain the same it will
not give you that error.

For a temporary fix, you can disable qttask in: Start>run>msconfig>startup.
