Yesterday, my power went off and when I tried to start my computer the
following error message appeared:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.
UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
Technical information:
STOP: 0x000000ED (0x867D5A68, 0xC0000006, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I tried everything, it won't restart in any mode (safe mode, normal or
anything) I even tried to boot the computer from the CD but it doesn't work.
During the booting the message

File \i386\halaacpi.dll cannot be loaded. Error code 7

appears. Can anyoane please help me? I have no idea what to do. I use
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition.

Thank you so much

thank you. I read that but there's still nothing I can do. I mean if usually
works after a restart, my computer doesn't work at all and I can't find any
solution anywhere. If I could boot the computer from the CD it would be
something but it doesn't work.
