Error Message on opening documents

Hi there,

I have a PC with Word 2000 in it. Everytime I open a
document I get an error message saying Compile Error in
Hidden Module.

This error occurs when there is a problem in vba. You have an autoexec macro
in normal.dot or (more likely) in an add-in that doesn't work correctly. In
the case of an add-in it is probably because the add-in was designed for a
different Word version.

If you haven't added any auto macros (tools > macro > macros - look for
macros called 'auto' in normal.dot) then it is probable that there aren't
any there. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/CheckIfAddinsInstalled.htm for the
add-ins. Remove all add-ins and re-introduce them one by one. When the fault
comes back - you have found the offender! Remove it again or update it.

My guess would be WinFax?
