Hi,

Recently, my access has problem when double click the access file.
It does open the access file after double click, but it will also pop
up the following error message

*****************************
cannot find the file "C:\filename.mdb" ( or one of its components).
Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required
libraries are available
*****************************

I have tried to uninstall and install the whole office, but it doesn't
work. I am using Office XP under Windows2000.

Please help !!
thanks

For some reason your file is opening so slowly that Windows thinks it has
failed and pops up that very message. The message is coming fromWindows,
NOT Access, and the way to stop it happening is to find out why your file is
opening so slowly and fix it.

thanks for your advise, but it seems that I can open every single
access file quickly ( like less than a second ). It means some of my
windows file is corruptted ? it may be very difficult to dig it out
the problem ....

many thanks
Ginola
