Error Message 7d8: gttask.exe - No disk

D

Dick

I get an error message at start-up. I just started to
get it now. I don't know what I did. Start-up has not
had this message>

The message is:

There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into
drive\Device\Harddisk1\DR1.

I don't want to boot up from a disk drive. It should
boot up from my C: drive which is a harddisk.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I get the same error message at start up as well. Four
times in a row. I believe it started when my firewall
offered a free up grade that was was not free and I
declined.

me a general user like u dick ....so dont expect an expert advice;-). it appears u have changed the first booting sequence to boot from disk.get in SETUP ----go to boot sequence and check out boot from hdd/sort as the first level.probably this will surely solve ur problem.if it does say me thx if doesnt speak out what happened:)
