error in exiting Outlook 2000

When I exit I get the following error message:
"Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience"
The details of the error are as follows:
Error Signature;
AppName: outlook.exe
MapVer: 9.0.0.6604
ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0
Offset: 3ff54578

I'm running Windows XP.

Can anyone help me on this?

Unfortunately no. The good thing is that it doesn't seem to create any other
problems and is just a nuisance. I think I may try the reinstall/repair
feature from the original program disc.
