ERROR Code 41

My computer says drivers for my internal DVD drive, LG CD RW/ Drive and my
external LG CD RW and DVD player are working properly and updated but cannot
find device ERROR 41.. everything was working fine yesterday, boot computer
today and cannot run any of these. Did System restore, did not fix the
problem. Please Help

Have a look at this MSKB article:

You can no longer access the CD drive or the DVD drive, or you receive an
error message after you remove a CD recording program or a DVD recording
program in Windows XP: "error code 31"

Although not mentioned in the title of the article, error code 41 is
referenced in the "Symptoms of the problem" section.
