Error Code 0x80004005

I cannot log into Windows XP Professional. I keep getting the message:

"A problem is preventing windows from accurately checking the license for this computer
Error code: 0x80004005"

Is this something that is a result from some sort of virus? How do I fix?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Start/run "regsvr32 regwizc.dll" (without the quotes)
Then start/run "regsvr32 licdll.dll"

See if this helps.
