Error at shutdown

I receive a strange message when I try to shut down computer. Its give me:
nj6md5zm.exe-DLL Initialization Failed. The application failed to
initialize because the window station is shutting down. I can't find
anywhere a place that shows me what those letters and numbers refer to. I
then get a Pop up behind that says: End Program-Invisible Window. The
program is not respoonding. To return to Windows and check the status.

I would suspect a virus, trojan or worm in your case. First, the file named
in the error is a weird (random?) mix of 8 characters - a common symptom of
an intrusion or infection. Secondly, a search with google for
"nj6md5zm.exe" yields zero results.

You should do a full system scan with an up to date antivirus program. If
you think your installed antivirus program may have been compromised or
just want a second opinion, try one of the online scanners such as:

Panda:
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/

TrendMicro's Housecall:
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

RAV (instruction page with a link to scan page):
http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/howto-scan.php

Other malware has been known to generate randomly names with 8 characters
as well, so a full scan with a good anti-spyware program should be
performed as well.

AdAware:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

Microsoft AntiSpyware (beta but I like it):
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

Microsoft maintains a number for no charge support for virus and other
security related support: 1-866-PCSAFETY for US and Canada.
Numbers for other regions available from a link on this page:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/gp/securityhome

I ran Panda. There were no viruses, trojans or worms. There was a lot of
spyware and the file named came up and was deleted. It doesn't show any more
at close down, but I still get the "program is not responding", but I guess
I can live with that. Thanks.
