I cannot get by error 85010014, I have tryed every thing !
I had outlook 97 and have now installed Outlook 2007 thinking that was the
problem. I have Activesync 4.5.0. I have tryed uninstalling and installing
both activesync & outlook also deleting my outlook mail profile and setting
up another one.

Please if any one can help me !

I have heard the error 85010014 refers to outlook.

This version of ActiveSync can sync directly against Exchange 2003/7. If
you have it configured this way, the error generally means that the
OWA\ActiveSync IIS folder on the exchange server is configured to require
SSL. This breaks ActiveSync. You will need to work with the folks that
support the Microsoft Exchange server to get this corrected.

I'm having the exact same problem as Jonty.... but I don't know anything
about Exchange. Can you direct me as to how I can solve this problem?

Thanks.... Natalie

The only solution from the customer/client perspective is sync against
Outlook rather than the Exchange server. If you wish to continue syncing
directly against Exchange (e.g. say your windows mobile device has internet
connection thru a carrier (att, verizon, tmobile, .etc) & you like the
direct sync because it bypasses using Outlook), then it is the folks that
take care of IIS/Exchange that has to address. They do this by turning off
the SSL requirement in IIS.
