Error 1907. Could not register font.

Hi, running Vista Home Premium and have come across this message a number of
times.

"Error 1907. Could not register font. Verify that you have sufficient
permissions to install fonts, and that the system supports this font".

It then gives me three options. Abort. Retry. Ignore. Click on Abort does
what it says. Clicking on Retry or Ignore seems to do nothing at all - the
message just appears again, and again, and again, etc.

I'm trying to install my new Office 07 but cannot install as I keep getting
this error message. I am running as administrator, I can and have installed
fonts. I cannot work this out.

Any ideas?

below. You are posting from a website that looks like a forum but isn't. It
is really a website that scrapes Usenet posts. Most of us helpers use a
real newsreader to access Usenet (very easy to set up, BTW) and so have no
idea who "reneegade" is or what his/her problem was. Here is the

Since you are using a web interface, you may not realize that this is really
a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to use
a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use
Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you already have it.
