Hi all, Im new to these forums, because a friend just told me about them. Well I play a game that requires java, and I just reformated my computer. I tried to reinstall the game, and as its downloading the java, half way into it I get an error that says :

Error 1606.Could not access network location http://jdl.sun.com/webapps/download/GetFile/1.5.0_06-b05/windows-i586//ja150000.cab.

I have no idea what that is, because Im about as stupid as it gets when it comes to this stuff. I have installed all windows updates, but yet it still does the same thing. Someone had me try going to tools internet options, and advanced, then look for the sun java, but that isnt even in it. So can someone please help me with this? Thanks if you can :)

EDIT: Sorry forgot to mention I run on windows xp.

Judging by the error message you have seen it says to me that maybe the server where the files are held is too busy or temporarily down.

Have you left if for say, one hour, and tried again?

Or you could try downloading from this link: http://www.java.com/en/
