error 1606 on unistalling and error 101 on rerun program

I installed spyware the other day and encounted a
problem with IE favorites window not opening , just
blank. Went to uninstall and encounted error 1606 Could
not access network location %userprofile%\favorites\
Information said to restart again. When I tried to
install again error 101 came up. Information said to call
MS which I did. I still can not uninstall product to see
if my IE favorites goes away.

I was getting an 1606 error both on install and uninstall .
I searched and found this page ...

because the link on the answer for this post doesn't work .
The value for "Personal" was wrong in my PC . I fix it and
Antispyware installed correctly.
