I received the error 0xC00CE55E "element was not closed" when trying to
receive email using Microsoft Outlook 2003. Also this occured when I used
outlook express.
all the problems started after adding a new e mail account

Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error (0xC00CE55E) : 'The
server responded 'Element was not closed

Hello The wise,
What is the type of e-mail account you have configured recently. ( http,
pop3 )
Remove the e-mail account and check with the other e-mail account if its
working.
Did u configured the same e-mail account in outlook express.
If the issue repeats with both the programs , then the issue lies with
either ISP or with third party like spy ware or antivirus program.

the type of e-mail account I configured was a pop3
I removed the e-mail account and both microsoft outlook and express worked.
when again I added the problematic acount and tested it it is not working.In
fact I have two emails from the service provider the old working the new no
way to set it
thank you very much.
can I ask you two questions or should I start another thread?
why some letters have active links in microsoft outlook but not in outlook
express ?
why the 'from' is not displayed correctly when it is written in Arabic
language
although the body of the letter and the subject are displayed correctly in
arabic language (even after choosing encoding).

I do not know if restarting my computer has some effect in resolving my problem
