Epson 870 printer and Logitech mouse and Keyboard won't install

1. I can't get XP to complete install of Epson 870 printer on LPT1. I get
to the Finish screen, hit Finish and then files start loading and then it
gives an error message at the end that it can't complete the install.

2. Have wireless Logitech mouse and keyboard, the drivers are installed but
they aren't recognized. I have tried to reset the mouse and keyboard and hit
the connect on the wireless unit, but doesn't work.

3. I also am getting a funny message about not having rights to make
changes. I am logging in on Admin user account. Is there something in XP
that overrides Admin User account somewhere else in the Securities area?

I am using McAfee for AntiVirus and protection.
