Environment variable woes?

Yes, I changed a variable called temp, now I can not get photoshop to load
up. I can not remember what it was originally set at any help would be
great...

currently Temp displays...=C:\docume~1\spaman\locals~1\temp

and Tmp displays =C:\windows\Temp

Does look correct? I have a new toshiba laptop.....How can I find the
manufactures environment variables out of the box? This can be the one
reason for photoshop not working...right?

If you did not recently do a lot of other fancy changes that you would hate
to have to redo, just do a quick and easy System Restore:
Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore
(If you have never done it before, it is reversible.)
