END PROGRAM

Hi,
When I shut turn off my computor, an error sas "END
PROGRAM", program not responding- press cancel to return.
But no programs are running, usally when I wait a few
minutes it will turn off am I shutting down too soon even
though no programs are running? Thanks!

Something is not exiting gracefully. Although you think no programs are
running because *you* may not have initiated one, there are lots of
processes/programs running in the background. Here is a link to

And of course, you *are* running a current (post-2002 version using
updated definitions) antivirus program and you know your computer is
clean, right?
