"end progarm error" during shut down process

Not sure if I am on the right discussion group.
But every time I shut down/restart/or log off computer, I
get a "end program error", even when none of my programs
or windows are opened.
Appreciate if anyone could help

It means an app hasnt shut down correctly, you may be able to see the app in
running processess
