Encrypted Files

Ok I have a lot of pictures I've accumulated on my hard drive. My computer
started acting up so I decided to move the files to another drive on the
computer E:. I reinstalled Windows, but now I can't access my pictures
because it now says the pictures are encrypted. Does anyone know how to
decrypt the files so I can get access to them?

You need to get certain keys from your original hard drive.

If you have reinstalled winodows over your original windows I think
the outlook is extremely poor. I am no expert but the NTFS system is
fairly secure and extremely difficult to decrypt without the relvant
keys.

When you created the encryption, I think (and I have never done it)
you will have been given the option to save certain keys - do you have
these.

Good luck
