Enabling cookies

Hello,

I'm using IE 6.0 on a Windows XP Pro SP2 box and I'm trying to enable
session cookies for a few different websites one being bluemountain.com and
when I try to logon it keeps telling me I have to enable cookies but I
already have done so by going to Tools - Internet Options - Privacy tab -
Advanced & selecting Override automatic cookie handling, accepting first
party & third party cookies & selecting always allow session cookies. I have
even cleared history, deleted files & deleted cookies and still cannot logon.

Hi Bsbm,
Try not to set your Cookies through the Advanced Option (i.e First Party &
third party)
Try the Selector or the Custom level selctor and set to Medium High, some
website fussy about level of security?, if the Session cookies not all Okay,
they will not grant you access.
Also try to Assign the web address in the |Trust Sites on the security Tab,
the same in the Privacy Tab and Click on Sites Button assign the web address
there to always allow. (try it with your setting (First Party & third
Party)first and see if you will have access).
Hope this helps
Please write back with your findings

Perhaps the following KB article will assist you in cookie "handling" -

Nass/Siljaline,

Thank you both for the information.
Setting the privacy level back to default & entering the web address in
trusted sites resolved the issue.
