Empty the deleted items folder upon exiting

Hi, whenever I delete an email, it goes to the deleted item, and upon exiting
the MS outlook, it deletes everything from there, I dont want it to do that,
so I went in to Tools --- Options --- Other - "Empty the deleted items folder
upon exiting is checked and greyed out" I cant uncheck the box --- I also
clicked on advanced option button -- and Warn before deleting is greyed out
as well.

Please input your suggestions.

Syed,
If your at work and connected to your business network & they are using
Microsoft Exchange, the Network Administrator has taken control of this
option and is not permiting you to change it.
