embedding font issue

I have selected embed font when saving the PPT. My client opens that file and
they get a message stating that the two fonts used are not on their system,
click OK to proceed. How can I fix this? PPT 2003 allows me to save the file
without any embedding error message, and when checking the properties of the
font it shows that installable embeddable is allowed. I am stumped!!!

Hi morgancreative,

That is because that font you use in your presentation isn't installed
on your clients' computer. The best is change the fonts to common
fonts in your presentation, such as Times New Roman.

If you don't want to change the fonts, you could convert your
presentation to Falsh (http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash-
pro.html#110) and then the fonts will really embedded in your
presentation, then you clients could view your presenation without
problem, Flash can be shown normally on any computers.

Some fonts cannot be embedded because of licensing. Which operating system
do you use? For Windows XP you can download a (free) font properties
extension from Microsoft, which will show you whether embedding is allowed,
for Vista you should find this information in the Font Properties by
default. If the font cannot be embedded, you should use another font or
convert to PDF. (No, converting to Flash is not an alternative, that's
Spam!).
